Question by northern_muse: Difference between a night nanny and a night nurse?
I have a 2 year old and a newborn and am wanting to get some help at night/over night when my husband travels for work later this month. I am confused at the difference, if any, between a night “nurse” and a night “nanny”? Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks!

The only difference that I could think of is that maybe the night nurse only takes care of the baby whereas a night nanny may straighten up for you, throw in a load of laundry, prepare snacks for the older one the next day etc. A night nanny’s job may be more inclusive than a nurse who would just care for the baby specifically
